Last week I enjoyed an excellent 2 day canoe trip with my friend and ex-grad student (now prof), Dr. David Dobbie. The au-sable river on the lower pennisula of MI turned out to be very beautiful, relatively bug free, and dotted with summer cottages. Anyhow, I thought I would add a picture or two to the blog. After a long hiatus, I hope to post more regularly.
